The Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) has granted funding for a new scientific research network: Integrating the History of Science and History of Humanities. It aims not only to unify the history of science and history of humanities but also to unite the early and late modern periods. The network comprises universities in Amsterdam, Brussels, Cardiff, Copenhagen, Ghent, Leiden, Leuven, Munich, and Utrecht.
Over five years, the network will organise workshops, support visiting fellowships for researchers, stimulate joint publications, and offer co-funding initiatives among partner universities.
